We have expanded our office hours to 8pm in order to provide convenient access to health care for your child. We lengthened our office hours so that parents won't have to resort to going to Urgent Care Centers as often. By bringing your child to our office for all of their health care needs, your child will get to see a provider that is properly trained in the subtleties of pediatrics and is familiar with
his or her medical history. We can then ensure proper follow-up in case there are any unexpected changes in the course of the illness.

Regular office visits are by appointment. If you have a scheduled appointment that you cannot keep, please notify the office so that
the scheduled time can be used for another child.

During Office Hours:
For children who are ill, please call and schedule an appointment as soon as you believe the child may need to be seen. Generally, we will try to accommodate sick call-ins that day or within 24 hrs, depending on the urgency of the illness. Parents may call anytime during office hours to schedule well child visits, have prescriptions refilled, and discuss less urgent needs with the staff.

Calls After Hours:
We participate in the Pediatric After-Hours Program sponsored by Kosair Children's Hospital and a community pediatrician call group.
If you need urgent medical advice after hours that cannot wait until the next available office day, just call the office number and your
call will be directed to an experiennced pediatric nurse who will discuss your concerns. If your child's medical condition requires a visit to the doctor, the nurse will direct you to a hospital or
outpatient care center. A physician in our call group is always on call for back-up advice to the nurse program and for hospital care.
