Thank you for considering using our practice as your child's Medical Home. Our entire staff looks forward to making your visits positive experiences for your child that will translate into a lifetime of well-being. Since we specialize in the health, welfare, and development
of children from birth to young adulthood, we have carefully structured our office for their comfort, special needs, and
enjoyment. From having experts in emergency treatments, chronic care and behavioral needs, to inviting a licensed lactation consultant to join our team, we try very hard to offer the most progressive, kid friendly services in the Kentuckiana area. We have an electronic records system that allows us to have quick access to any of your child's medical history. We also have an electronic prescription writing program that lets us send your child's prescription to the pharmacy of your choice, so you can leave the office and pick up your child's medications without having to drop off the prescription and wait.

When your child is ill, we will do our best to accommodate you with the soonest available appointment that day. Recognizing that nurturing a child back to good health requires a lot of energy from everyone involved, we will be here to offer our expertise and compassion in that process. In the event that your child needs to be hospitalized for an injury or illness, we would admit him or her to either Kosairs Children's Hospital in Louisville, or Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.

Pediatric care encompasses a broad spectrum of health services, ranging from preventive health care to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Providing periodic physical examinations and immunizations will better insure that your child
will remain healthy. Such "well child" visits also allow us the opportunity to provide education about healthful living including safety guidance, the importance of proper exercise and nutrition, discussions on child behavior...and the many challenges thereof!

As your pediatricians, we will follow the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics which are designed to provide maximal
health care for your child. These standards specify periodic exams that include immunizations, skin tests, blood counts, urinalyses, and developmental as well as hearing and vision screening. All drugs, vaccines, procedures and treatments are used in accordance with standards recognized by national authorities.
